	Universal Orlando presents the 17th annual Mardi Gras celebration February 11 - April 14 on Saturdays and select nights. Mardi Gras features the food and drinks of the celebration in the French Quarter Courtyard along with music and colorful costumes. The Mardi Gras parade runs through the park with spectacular floats and celebrants throwing out beads to the crowds. There is also a concert series with performances scheduled every Saturday featuring big name artists at the Universal Music Plaza stage, kicked off this year by the B-52's on their 35th anniversary tour.

There are dozens of performers in the parade in really elaborate costumes
It's a really great parade and evokes the spirit of New Orleans
The B-52's kicked off the Mardi Gras concert series right, putting on a great show as usual!
This was the second concert of their 35th Anniversary Tour which kicked off in Athens, GA last week.
