2005
marked the 50th season for Storybook Land, a small traditional children's
park near Atlantic City, featuring themed attractions and a collection of
small rides based on traditional fairy tales, nursery rhymes and other
children's stories.
This great little park has managed to grow and thrive over the half century by staying true to its roots as a family place, catering to the youngest of park-goers. The park's collection of attractions has grown and been enhanced over the years with attractions being moved in from defunct parks plus modern rides to round out the collection. The park has made a tradition of putting on a Christmas lights display called "Fantasy with Lights", decorating all the buildings, paths and attractions with thousands of lights. Santa and Mrs. Clause are their to greet children and spread holiday cheer with nightly appearances. |
