In 1988 the park introduced Bugs Bunny Land and  Condor as the new attractions.   Condor was a Huss Condor ride, and only remained at the park for 3 seasons before being relocated to Six Flags Great America where it remains today.

The decision to build Condor and Bugs Bunny Land were very last minute after Six Flags corporate offices decided not to build Shockwave at Great Adventure, but instead at Great America.   In 1989, Great Adventure received a larger version of the Shockwave as the Great American Scream Machine.

Condor was located on the former site of the Calypso, next to the Buccaneer.
