Big
Wheel (AKA Giant Wheel) ![]() When the Giant Wheel opened with the park in 1974, it was the tallest structure in the park, and remained the tallest ride until the Parachuters Perch opened in 1983. The park claimed it was the World's Largest Ferris Wheel when it opened. When the park opened it was known as the "Giant Wheel" but the name was later was demoted to being the "Big Wheel". It was one of three Ferris Wheels at the park, which included the "Lil Wheel" and the (kiddie) "Little Big Wheel"
